Cara is a freelance journalist, researcher, blogger, and content strategist. She has experience in business reporting, multimedia production, editorial planning and project management, food history reseach, and web publishing, as well as food writing, photography, and recipe development. She is the author of In the Small Kitchen (William Morrow, May 2011), the founder of Big Girls, Small Kitchen, and a contributor to print and web publications. A graduate of Harvard College with a degree in literature, she holds a master of arts in business journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in New York City.
