Cara is a freelance journalist with experience in multimedia work, editorial, and web publishing, as well as food writing and recipe development. She is the co-author of In the Small Kitchen (William Morrow, May 2011) and the co-founder of Big Girls, Small Kitchen and Small Kitchen College. A graduate of Harvard College with a degree in literature, she holds a master of arts in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
Cara grew up in Riverdale, New York and lives in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
